Design. Build. Code. Compete.
FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) gives students in grades 7–12 the opportunity to design, build, program, and compete with robots while developing valuable STEM and career-ready skills. Working alongside mentors, teams tackle a new engineering challenge each season, applying creativity, innovation, and problem-solving to bring their ideas to life.
Using a reusable, modular robotics platform, students gain hands-on experience with mechanical design, programming, electronics, CAD, strategy, and project management. Beyond the robot, teams also develop communication, leadership, outreach, and teamwork skills that prepare them for success in college, careers, and beyond.
