This week we welcome Frank Farrell as our corporation’s first Executive Director. In this role he will be working directly with the Board to deliver on our strategic goals and mission. Frank is a seasoned educator and school administrator with more than 40 years of experience in schools and non-profit organizations. While beginning his professional career in elementary schools and non-profit youth programming, Frank spent over 20 years in higher education teaching and administration with vast experience in enrollment management, development, curriculum and facilities planning and usage. Frank has also served as President of an All Girls Catholic High School and as Archdiocesan Director of Scholarships and Financial Aid for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Frank is a long standing member of community, having over 15 years as a volunteer and mentor across FRC, FTC, and FLL programs, and is always quick to state that he has been privileged to watch four of his children learn and grow through their participation in FIRST programming. His passion for robotics and youth programming, rooted in his experience as a mentor, volunteer, and parent, makes the board confident in his ability to lead our organization. In the coming months the Board will update our community on any organizational changes that will come about as a result of now having a full time employee. For now, please join us in welcoming Frank!
