Mentors:

  • The table above indicates at which event the student(s) you nominated will be interviewed.
  • You need to inform your student(s) at which event they will be interviewed. Student will not receive any communications from me concerning their interviews.
  • Your student(s) will be assigned an interview time slot when they get to the event where they are scheduled to be interviewed.
  • Please remind students that interviews are 6 – 10 minutes in length.
  • If your student requires either a language or signing interpreter, an additional 5 minutes will be added to the interview time.  Please let me know asap if your student will be using an interpreter for their interview.
  • If you nominated two students, BOTH students will be interviewed at the same event.
  • Two Dean’s List Award District Championship Semi-Finalist will be selected at each District Event
  • The 18 Dean’s List Award District Championship Semi-Finalists will be re-interviewed at the FMA District Championship event.  
  • Dean’s List Award District Championship Semi-Finalists on teams who do not plan to attend the FMA Championship event will be given the option to interview the week prior to the event via phone or video.
  • 4 Dean’s List Award Finalist will be selected at the FMA Championship event to move on to be judged for the FIRST Championship.
