This message is a call for candidates announcement to persons who may be interested in serving as a board member of Mid-Atlantic Robotics. You are receiving this message as a member of FMA who is eligible to serve on the governing body. You may submit yourself to be a candidate for the Board in accordance with the process below. Each interested candidate will need to complete the Candidate Response Form and review the Job Description for the Director position.
In accordance with the Corporation’s Bylaws, a Nominating Committee will review credentials of candidates and will provide a list of candidates, along with a rationale as to why the candidate would be a good fit for the Board of Directors at the June 4, 2019 Board Meeting.
There are six Directors whose terms will expire this year. Each of these incumbents are eligible to be on this year’s ballot for an additional term.
FMA is seeking individuals who have expertise to drive improvements in FMA business operations, in addition to individuals who can lead the operational aspects of the organization. The focused and committed work of the FMA Board of directors is critical to the success of the organization.
Please make sure you are a member of the Corporation before applying to serve on the Board of Directors. Note: If you did not reply or abstain to the January 2019 voting for Bylaws change, you were removed as a member of Mid-Atlantic Robotics. An election will be conducted by secret ballot. This will take place during the Annual Meeting, which is scheduled to be conducted on June 22, 2019 at West Windsor-Plainsboro HS North.
The following is the schedule for the 2019 Election cycle:
May 16 – Call for candidates to be circulated
May 28 – Deadline for candidates to submit Candidate Response Form (enclosed)
June 04 – Voting eligibility determined by FMA Membership role, prior to the Board of Director’s Meeting at 7:00 PM
June 04 – Nominating Committee reports to Board
June 07 – Deadline by which ballot must be available for membership voting
June 22 – Annual Meeting at which election will conclude and results announced
